Im looking at getting rid of my f250 deisel ext cab and going to a 150. I look at the dimensions of the interior on a 150 and they are the same size between the ext. and crew cab. Can anyone tell me the difference ? Does the crew have the full 4 doors and the ext. have the suicide doors ? or does the ext. cab have the full 4 doors also. Its confusing on the ford website. Any info would be appreciated.
Crew cab has the 4 full doors, the extended cab has the suicide style doors. I don't think the Crewcab and extended (or supercab) have the same dimensions, the crews are bigger. Unless you were looking at wheelbases, then maybe a crewcab with the 5.5' bed is the same length at a ext with a 8' bed.
In the 2008 F-150 brochure the 2nd row seat leg room for the Extended Cab is 6.3 inches smaller than the Crew Cab. The cab length of the extended cab is 143.5" and the crew cab length is 149.3"
Thanks guys.. I thought that it was the same setup with the doors as my 250. I love my truck but the deisel is .74 cents a gallon more here. Its killin me..
i lined my crew cab 5.5 ft and my new scab 6.5 ft next to each other at the nose of the truck and the scab was slightly longer...2-5 inches
it's exactly 6.0 inches longer. Per the Ford website, the 6.5 Scab length is 229.8 inches and the 5.5 Screw is 223.8 inches long (overall body length bumper to bumper)
