shock question

shock question
Hey guys, this may be a dumb question but I just want to do this right. I am going to install a 2.5" leveling kit on my 2002 F250 SD 4X4 with new schocks all the way around. When installing the front shocks, do you place the body of the shock at the bottom and the stem shaft at the top or the other way around?

The holes are different on the ends. They will only go on there one way, the body side down. I just put new shocks on my 99 last weekend. It was super easy and very quick. It only took like 20 minutes to do all four.

First off what Zack7.3 said. They should only go on one way. On my truck the fronts run one direction and the rears run the opposite direction. But that is the only way they would go on.
Secondly, I highly recommend Bilstein 5100's. They are great.

I had carquest or something like that. They were on there when I bought the truck. I put some Ranchos on. I really don't know which part # they were because they came off of one of my buddies trucks. They only had like 4000 miles on them before he put an eight inch lift on his. My favorite kind of part, FREE. I haven't ran around on them much. I cant tell a difference on the highway. They do look really nice though, white with red boots. They match the dual steering stabilizers I put on the truck a couple weeks ago.
