I have an '04 F250 SD FX4. My motor has seized up on me at 88K miles. It had oil. Oil pressure never should issues. Was driving and the engine just shut down. It was ticking for about a day, but only at high rpms before the transmission would shift. There wasn't any type of screaching, or bang like I threw a rod. It just shut down.
I have pulled off the dust sealed to access fly wheel, cannot budge motor.
Any ideas? Will the oil pan come off with out removing the motor?

any info would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

That's odd. Have you tried removing the fan belt to see if an accessory is locked up? Have a 4.3L GM do this once, was the alternator.

 

Yes serp belt has been removed. Everything else is moving.
