Does your door ajar light stay on while you are driving? If it does, spray your door latches real good with WD-40, closing and opening them a few times. The latch gets crud on it and the switch stops working.

Star, I noticed you have a 2002 model truck. Hopefully its just a sticking door switch like the other guys mentioned. But, if the spray does not work, take a look at this thread and see if you have any of these other symptoms:
