What`s the hold up? (other than the cold weather.....)
This weekend and into next week it`s supposed to be +1 so you`ll get some riding in if you have the time.

I have owned in the past 4 trikes, never rolled one of them. Seen lots of idiots roll em tho. Ayap, you hit a corner at full throttle and over you go (regardless of 3 or 4 wheels). You have to be smart(er) when riding a trike. Trikes have alot of advantages over the quads (the big one is, they FLOAT)

I`ve never had any troubles with a 3 wheeler once I started leaning over the handle bars in a tight turn and letting the rear slide around to make the corner. Before learning that the rear end did want to come up on a too fast /tight corner.
I did once come across a grandfather that broke his wrist when he had the trike out with his grand kids. That did worry the crap out of me for a while.....

ever try to successfully go up a steep hill without a run?? i don't think so. lean forward you say?? sure, there goes your traction. its a game of creeping forward 3 feet then back 1 foot to let the front wheel touch again. usually ends up with a rollover or two. thanks, i'll keep my quad. those 3 wheelers were outlawed for a reason.

might get a couple of miles on her this weekend if its as nice as we're expecting...

Steep hills, I've done really steep hills without a run at it (most quads cant do steep hills without sliding back). Honda was smart and put that really nice set of super low gears in them as far back at 1981. trikes were outlawed only because people were stupid when it came to riding them. And assumed that it was like a car with 3 wheel.

I used to drive our neighbours trieks all teh time, they were pretty fun. I wouldnt personally get one though. With all the 4x4 quads out there now a days, I just figure thats the way to go.

As for cleaning the quad after geting it muddy, that is half of the fun!

we might end up argueing through this whole thread, but a clean bike is a maintained bike. nothing rusts or corrodes, everything stays free of grime and keeps moving and working for more fun times ahead. tru not washing your truck for the next 3 winters...if there's salt in the area, it'll start looking like a strainer in no time.
