Running lean with edge?

Heard people talk about being careful to not run lean while using the edge but how do you know if your truck is running lean while running your edge evo?

Best way to tell is to hook up a wideband O2 to your truck.

How can the average person tell that doesn't have access to that kind of equipment?

Yep, run it too lean for very long and you will burn a hole in a piston or do other engine damage.

How would a person adjust the gas flow? The only setting on the edge is (WOT) wide open throttle. Is there another way to adjust it?

It's my understanding that Edge's canned tunes leave enough on the table that running lean is not a problem unless you have one of the 3 1/2 inch CAIs. It is designed for a stock intake. I have run the canned tunes for 34,000 miles without a problem. I just last week installed a custom tune and it is awesome.
