OK, I'm getting annoyed. As soon as the engine is warmed up it starts cutting out, not long enough to affect the tach or alt readings. It's sporadic and has been doing it since early November. This is a problem that has been gradually been getting worse. It isn't water in the fuel as I've seen suggested before, but something different. MAF? coilpack?
I've run the propane tests on the vacuum lines, and nothing.
I've wiggeled every power line I can see, zilch.
Swapped the AC and fuel pump relays...nada.
I pulled the MAF plug while the engine was running at idle, no change.
Replaced the POS K&N airfilter with a correct paper filter, no long term change.
I've cleaned the MAF and IAC which did turn off the CEL for a couple of days, it's all back.
As for pulling codes, it was -5* this morning so that will have to wait a bit longer, winter has been long, cold, and snowy. And not done.
The local parts stores don't pull free codes where I live. Autozone doesn't compete here. It's all just bend over and grab your wallet.

Pretty conclusive. You can try cleaning the MAF, but if it were mine, I'd just get a new one. Do you have an oiled cotton gauze air filter? If so, that is probably what ruined the MAF.
It had an old, tired K&N when I got the truck. I tossed that into the trash a couple of months ago, and went back to a standard paper filter. I have cleaned the MAF sensor several times, the last time being yesterday. I'm going to clear codes tomorrow and pull them again Sunday when it warms up again. I suspect that the MAf is toast. What is code 8? That and 99 came up during the KOER test.
99 says to clear the codes and let idle for 2minutes before re-pulling codes. Clear the code reader or the vehicals computer? I'm vague on this one.
