Tazz, make sure your hubs are actually unlocking. I had one that stuck locked and it made a noise and vibrated a little going down the road. I checked mine by tying a piece of string about 10 feet long to the front driveshaft and moved the truck just to the end of the driveway. It's just a quick way to check

Hey ill give that a try, I'm going crazy hunting down the issue!
Also, check the nut on the yoke at the differential... Mine is loose, and makes a bit of noise in 4wd. It's on the list of things I am fixing this weekend.....
I was having the similar symptoms as described by miller_feed. When I drove my truck at idle speed and went over a bump I would get this grinding and popping sound like something was hitting the driver side floor board. I also thought is was something to do with the bearings so I took it to the guys at Advance Driveline in Orlando, Florida and they told me that the bearings were good and the noise was being caused by worn out front stabilizer brackets. I had them replaced on both sides and the problem went away....Good Luck.<O</O
I had a grinding/howling noise on my 06 KR 4x4 only when turning left, even just changing lanes. It was most noticeable from about 20-50 mph, varied with speed, but really was there at all speeds just got lower frequency when slow and drowned out by wind and road noise when fast. No noise when stopped. Also, the noise didn't change when in 4x4 or when braking, only went away when the steering wheel was straight or turned right. I jacked up the front end and didn't feel any play or drag when the wheels were spun. I took it to the dealer and it was the left front wheel bearing/hub assembly. Dealer replaced it under warranty otherwise it would have cost around $330. I hope this helps.
