By The Way I Got The 7 Year 200000 Mile Extended Warranty From Ford For $1200,00. The Will Deal With You. Also The 7 Years Is Just 2 More Years Added On To The 5 Years.
Does this happen only when the truck is warm? Or is this for the first start of the day? If it happens first start of the day, it could be as simple as your batteries going bad.....and the white smoke is normal when it's cold out, as long as it's not an extreme amount...........
Stiction is a known problem in our trucks caused by varnish/oil deposits on the oil side of the injector. Rough running till warmed up,hard starts,miss/stumble at idle are some of the signs that you have stiction. Use the search function in this forum and you could spend a easy hour reading up on it.
If your not plugging in the block heater then you may want to cycle the key to on a couple of times before starting your rig. I believe the glow plugs actually stay on at least another 30 seconds once coil goes out on your dash.
I used the oil addative called Hot Shot's Secret made by Specialty Lubrications.
IT WAS THE BEST $50.00 I EVER SPENT!
My truck is running like brand new. But also keep in mind my truck was out of warranty. Dealer wanted $2800.00 to change all my injectors. I had one bad injector changed the rest where fine. I used the addative and the rest is history
