400 rear seal
I have a 400 and I had it rebuilt. The rear seal has always leaked even after the rebuild. My question, is the any oversize seals for this? I have to replace the seal but don't want it to do the same thing. Or is there a trick to keep things sealed up?

The repair books say to offset the seal about 3/8" where they do not line up with the rear main bearing cap where it seperates from the block. They say when it sets flush with the cap and block they are prone to leaking a bit.
