CFM question

I know that a 600 cfm carb works well on a 400. Good low end power. And the bigger the carb you start lossing this. But do the rules still apply for fuel injection, or is this totally different?

Pretty much the same rules. Everybody puts larger throttle bodies on their mustangs, which gives them more power, but moves the rpm where the power is developed higher.

CFM question

You can run a bigger system with electronic F.I. because it doesn't need the vacuum signal to guide it. Larger carbs develope less vacuum internally for metering purposes. 600cfm is plenty for a low rpm 400 that isn't raced.
