Question 5th wheel or goose neck?

Wich do you prefer and why.

I want one of the two too tow my jeep mostly because of the better manuverablity. I found a slightly used 5th wheel for like 200bucks wich sounds like a good deal. My truck already has a mounting kit from the prior owner.

In my area most people use gooseneck ball hitch unless pulling a camper which comes setup with 5th wheel.Either works fine.

That depends on your tarrain. If you may getting offraod some then you want a ball. They allow the truck and trailer to twist some. A fifth whel is for flat road. They will tilt front to back but not side to side. That is why the fifth wheels on campers. They help keep the camper stable when you are pulling them.

If you have a fifth wheel in your truck then you can take it out and put a ball plate in it's place. You both wagons covered then.
