As I'm sure a majority of us here will be receiving their share of the governments stimulus package check of $1200 per couple and $300 per additional child....
I'm seriously debating whether to take a trip here in the US of A (where I believe the money should go) or buy accessories for the truck but need the wife's permission.
I certainly hope that those that need it the most receive it.

What was that?
I got the 15mpg thing. At what speed do you get that?
This weekend towing a small trailer I got almost 13mpg at an average 82mph. That is also by hand using $3.29 gas...about 60 gallons of it!!!
Well, as 2007 was my first full year as a home owner..I..oh yeah...and my wife....are looking forward to not only a nice refund but also the stimulus check.
Where will mine be spent? Well, I am waiting on the final numbers from the builder for my garage addition...so you can imagine where I am spending my shekels.
I did our existing garage last Spring after the rest of the house projects were done. We agreed that it was simply not going to work...and that if we bought this house a garage addition was part of the deal.
Here's the existing before I got my cabinets, etc in.
chasing to cabelas near milwaukee. all interstate driving 8 adults average speed 66mph. i know it is slow but if you take the foot out the milage on the v10 goes up. trust me i know. when i first got the x i was hwy 12mph at 80. my foot can not pay the bill any more. so i slowed down. Nive viper. dose it have any track time???? or is it show and go??? nice garage (man zone) do you have any pic of the finished product..

True. For me, I can make more money, but cannot make more time. I am happier at 13.5mpg at 80 than I would be at 15+ at 66. For all I know, I may be able to get 16mpg at 66 but I will never find out.
Nick...the Ex has to sit outside. It's longer than the garage is deep..it just won;t fit in there, and that's one of the reasons for the garage addition.
tykateexcursion...no real track time. Bought new in 2000, shows 9500 miles now. It's pretty much a fair weather friend.
Property Tax and Diesel fuel. Wuld like to put on traction bars but not hinking wife will go for it. She's talking about a new DVD camcorder. I jjust go a long as it is easier. Matt love the garage and keep us posted on addition to the garage. I know it will be tops. Also still trying to see when I can get to ya for those bars. If you get a buyer before I understand.
njstevens...not even trying to sell those bars anywhere else. I'd just like them to get out of the way at my folk's. Thanks about the garage. I'll be posting finished pics tonight.
