door glass question

door glass question
I`m looking at a 53 f100 project and it`s missing the door glass and vent windows. Would it be cheaper to try to find the vent window stuff to put it back the way it was or just go to a 1 piece glass kit? I looked around on ebay and didn`t even see a vent assembly so I don`t know what they go for.

I think you'll find the window opening in the 53,..the opening the glass comes out of the door, might be alot of work.
It won't be a 'straight-glass' as a 56 install,
But the glass will come straight,or flat ,..so the opening will need to be re-configured.
Did I explain that clearly enough??...Not that it's not possiable, a couple of owners on this site have, but it's a task that will require some metal-moving.

I did the curved one piece glass kit from Midfifty, check my gallery for the full instructions.. looks great..
its a bunch of work.. but manageable..
cheaper overall than new vents, frames and glass.
