Let's see 'em, Jim! It could very well be helpful for others. I know I appreciate seeing everyone's projects. I really hope I haven't bored people with mine; my methods are a bit unorthodox, but hey, it's all good.
Now I'm wishing I had documented rebuilding my blown 10 1/4" rear and changing the rear gastank while I was in there.
That seems to be how I work, if I'm in an area and have to loosen up rusty bolts ect..
I just do all I can.
I needed to replace the ring and pinion, I was looking at all that rust, and knew the tank had a pinhole leak under the strap. So, while I had the spare out to do the pumpkin I dropped the tank, took a needle scaler to the frame, prettied it all up and put a new tank back in.
Done, and I hopefully I never have to deal with any of it again.
Let me see If I can find some batterys for my camera. I'm starting to tear the engine down. Then I'll put them all up on my Flickr in a new set and link them into my gallery. That way I'm not taking up so much server space here @ FTE.
Thanks for the comments...I just started tearing down the old motor and I love how ford decided to use 1 torx bolt in the upper manifold, and I also love that I dont have any torx bits lol...Guess I got to run by sears
