Does anybody have any experience with kendwoods D-Mask+ feature they had a few years ago? How releiable are they? Are they good cd players? Also anybody ordered anything from www.onlinecarstereo.com before? Im looking at the kenwood KDC-X689.

I haven't dealt with them, but I have dealt with this company and have had very good luck. They're a bit cheaper also.

As far the Dmask thing goes, I wouldn't depend on it. Most of the stereo theives are familiar with the radios and know that the faceplate is still there. My buddy had a different model with the same kind of flip back faceplate and it got stolen shortly after he installed it. Either take the faceplate off, or get an alarm with a pager that goes off when the alarm goes off so you can check on your vehicle.

Yeah I have emailed sonic electronix and they said they are out of stock and are not going to be getting anymore in. Im not wanting a kenwood D-Mask+ cd player for the security purposes I am just wanting it cause I like the way the face flips.
