Just curious If any one knows where I could find production numbers for Platinum Editions (2001), Also how many on this board might have one?
I Just purchased one.
A guy around the corner from me has one. My kids call it "Gray Ghost". He has a big exhuast and gauges on the pillar but I do not know what else. Have never gotten a chance to talk to him.
Mine looks like new...but has been in the shop for a week. I'd rather drive it than look at it but at $3.50 a gallon.....probably cheaper sitting in the shop :-)
oh...and all of the days in the shop just gives me more chances to read about the next mod. I think the wicked wheel and muffler delete is next for my Platinum.
Got some pictures of it Brown? I am having the same problem I just let mine sit in the drive way and work it in the evenins and weekends. It is no longer my daily driver, I just drive my Ranger.
No pictures of mine yet...bought in October...been hunting/muddy every since. But...here is a pic I 'borrowed' online. All of the platinum editions look exactly the same.
I've seen them on E-bay, I thought really hard about buying one out of Texas a few months ago when I was looking. Ford definatly made one good looking truck, though I wonder about the front porch sometimes.
