heater valve
I have a 2000 F 350 V-10 crew cab. The heater / airconditioner adjustment in the cab can be set to full cold and I get warm air. It can be set to full warm and I get cold air. This is an intermittant condition. I have checked the thermostat and heater hoses and all checked good. I think there is a hearter valve and I believe it is sticking. Does anyone know about this? Where is the valve located.
Any help would be appreciated.

No. The truck is 2 wheel drive. The manual I have says to feel the hearter hoses to be sure they get warm and they do. Then it tells you to check the thermostat.....it is good. The last thing the manual states is if the hoses are good and the thermo is good then check out the valve.
