I have to admit that I would never have attempted the work that you did. As far as I can tell, you used very good fab, rig and weld technique. Your body filler application is as rough as mine. However, if I had that cab to work with I would have either lived with what the PO did (pretty ugly), or found a different cab in better shape. Slant cabs aren't that rare yet. That one seems to be way more work than I would have attempted. It looks like you grafted most of one cab's floor into another cab and added a quarter panel.
I have to wonder if the doors will fit back into the openings correctly. But it would have been easier to answer that and many other questions if there was some narrative with the gallery pics and they were in some logical order to make the work progression easier to follow.
But my hat's off to you pardner. You definitely qualify as a fabricator.
Mate i thought i was the only crazy bugger trying to fix somethig that bad!! your workmanship looks great glad to see another one being saved cheers kiwi
i should clear things up. If you guys are talking about the cab that i replaced pretty much everything as a whole? I mean the cab that the is all braced up. I stoped work on that and went to the cab that was blasted and epoxy primered. Last time i tried to cheat and we all know where that ends up. S i have gone back to the epoxy cab and will start with all the cab corners than on to the rockers and final the floor. I bit off more than i could chew with my last atemp. I shoould go back and take out the pics of the other cab. That is my donar cab as well as one that is out side.well thanks for the ataboys!!!!!!!!! Thanks RT
