Funny noise?
I have a 1995 Explorer, all original with 223,194 miles. It has the 4.0 L engine and automatic overdrive transmission. I recently drove it from New Orleans to Atlanta for training, now it has a shudder that it makes when I first take off from a stop, but it doesn't do it all the time, and runs fine the rest of the time. Is it my transmission? I just put a new front end in, I really don't want to buy a tranny right now. Also it has a light squeak from the engine that comes and goes, I think it's either the belt tensioner, or the Autozone alternator. any tips? I love my Explorer, it's my daily driver , all day, since I fix copiers, and I can't afford to gas the F-100 everyday! Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you in advance.
