add a leaf question
I just finished with my lift over the weekend with exception of the rear shocks that were incorrect and think that maybe I should have added an add a leaf to the rear. I installed the Fabtech 3.5 kit and a 2inch block for the rear. At certain angles and various streets it looks maybe a tad taller in the front. Maybe no shocks on the truck will cause this but I was told that some kits come with an add a leaf and maybe I should have added one to my kit. Is it difficult to install these? Do I need to remove the u bolts again? Will I be able to gain just a 1/2 to 1 inch without making the rear end to tight. I am kind of fed up with this weekend project but want it done right.

u can get a add-aleaf kit for cheap it will add 1/2 to 1 1/2 inch depending on kit, u need to reomve the u-bolts then the centering bolt on the springs take teh pack apart and add the spring in the reight place, u can leave the springs in the truck just drop the axle enough it is pretty easy to do, word of caution when u take the centering pin out have a good clamp on the spring pack due to the energy stored in them. also the bolt might have to be cut out, i had to cut the nut off of both of mine to do it.
