My '79. pulled the 302 and added a mildly built 460. Posted big valve heads, custom cam, 9.5:1 compression, Fitech efi. I love it. So useful, pulls my camper very well.

After painting the hood last year, this truck sat a lot and was pretty neglected, so it took a lot of elbow grease, but I polished up all the chrome trim and did a polishing compound and then wax on the old paint. So nice having it shined up again for awhile, really need to keep up on it better next summer. I also had my '75 Diamond Reo Royale shined up for a show I took them both to, so it's included in the pictures. I had the Reo painted to match the Ford, haha.

Just picked it up signed the title.... 1978 F150 Ranger Lariat 2wd- 460/C6 - Edlebrock carb and performer intake

Fuel Gauge doesnt work. So I will be chasing that ghost down. That will be priority 1. Nothing happened when I moved the tank switch, I want to think the tank selector valve is non-op. Is there a way to test this? Then I plan to go through the brakes completely. Is Rock Auto going to be one of the better places for parts on it? C6 slips going into first, but, once you get going it drives real nice.

It has all the snaps for a soft tonneau cover... wouldn't mind finding one to fit it, but am assuming that a long shot.
