My dad got the 1st one in 1966 that was the parts man's demo. Its a 1965 A code 4 speed car. He drag raced it in stock class, it became my school car, and then we just redid it and do local shows and cruises. The other two we bought locally from friends. One is a black on black A code 4 speed car, and the white car is a back halved c code car we drag raced with a 351c for 12-15 years. we just sold our 63 1/2 427 xl500 galaxie. a true R-code car...black w/ red interior..i've had enough cars to retire on. a 1969 R code drag pack cobrajet Mustang, a 62 406 tri power Galaxie, a 70 mach i 351 CJ, and a couple of 390 Failrlanes..should have kept em all, buuutttt....well you know...
