Should the key pads be illuminated when the lights are on, or if the buttons are pushed. Currently mine does neither. Is there a fuse that operates this or may I be looking at a more extensive problem.
Yes, when you touch a button they do illuminate. Check ur fuses but I bet its the light inside.
Thanks,
I was attempting to locate a fuse but unable to find it in the owners manual however I will take another look. I would assume the the light your speaking of would consist of taking off the drivers door panel?
The key pad mounts from behind, I doubt you can replace a bulb, I bet the whole thing. If you have warrenty I would go that route after testing the curcuit. Door panels are a PITA to get back on without rattling.
I removed the door panel, not to bad of a job, now I hope I don't have any rattling haha. There is no bulb. So I guess I will need to take it in to have the curcuit tested or look deeper for a fuse of some sort.
