Those look like E-code headlights. Are they? E-codes are MUCH better at putting light down the road (I know ... I spent a small fortune to get a set of European-market aero lights for my old '94 Caravan, which needed all the help it could get).
It is a fine looking truck, and good to see that at least one is spreading the Ford Truck Gospel in other parts of the world! :-)
thanks guys, and yes the lights are stock aussie, ford aus put australian spec headlights in because they are biased to point slighly to the left because thats the side we drive on,i think its got something to do with the way the glass of the headlight is made.Ford aus get or did get our trucks from US in pieces then put them together using a ford falcon steering column and modified the chassis to accept a right hand drive steering box and used the same dash as a 86/87 f150 and used it all the way till 92 when they stopped bringing them into the country.
Heh-heh...just noticed something--they flip-flop the wipers for you guys who drive on the wrong side of the road! Just a detail I had never thought of.
yep wipers, brake cyl and booster all on drivers side, air filter same spot as you guys as with washer bottle and from what i have seen in photos the firewall looks the same, the wiper motor is same and in identical spot as your trucks, the steering box is on the inner side of the [aus]drivers side chassis rail.steering rods look identical just reversed.
