I'm with COFC on this you are getting close to 10g's in add ons, depends on where you're at but a crew-cab Lariat at the end of the month is about 46k, fabtech 6" depending on options (coil over conversion vs. coil springs) and wheel/tire combo will put you above 55k. Believe me it did mine. As far as warranty goes I'd have to look up the actual law (a bit rusty have'nt worked in the off road industry for a few years now) but only the changed parts are negated by factory warranty---fabtech 6= no warranty on shocks/springs etc. I have personally installed lifts on hundreds of trucks with many being Fords and know that dealers will run away when a lifted one pulls in their bay. They can say what they will but they cannot deny an unrelated warranty issue. By the way what is the difference between Job 1, 2 & 3?

2008 F-250 Lariat LB 6.4L Fabtech 4 link w/King Coilovers 37"BFG KM2's w/MKW M-26's for now!
2000 F-250 XLT 7.3L Banks everything 8" Donohoe Racing Suspension 37" BFG AT'S Welds--- you get the idea.

Dealers have no problem selling newer trucks with lift/wheel/tire combo.....you guys must not know how much a full lift/wheel/37" tire combo costs.....and with super duties, these mods DO NOT decrease value!!
Well I might be ignorant about about lift kits and oversize tires, but I do know that a replacement 6.4 engine goes more then 15 kilobucks before installation. With no warranty you eat it. So you want to jack up your truck and look like a kool Fool that is up to you.

hi, i have owned the 7.3, 6.0, and 6.4 and have lifted all 3..tires anywhere from 35's to 38's and have had all three in for warranty work and my dealer has never said a word to me about any of the trucks being lifted or having bigger tires...i mean i'm sure they could be hard a$$ if they want, but i'm sure most of them won't mess with you about a lift and tires....

It's gonna be hard pressed for a dealership to void a warranty on the engine/powertrain for a lift/tires. I have close relations with the 3 big dealers here in NM and none of them would even bawk at a lifted truck. Especially since all 3 send new trucks out for lifts and tires before making the lot.

That said. $45K isn't a bad deal either (DEPENDING ON REGION). Here in NM, a new base model F350 is $53K. $60K plus for fully loaded FX4/Lariat or KR models.

So, check your NADA/KBB etc. See what they say is good for trade in value and start there.

Good luck. I love my 08 F350 FX4 I just bought. It's a BAD *** TRUCK!!!

That dealer has nothing invested in those mods!
