weird problems....
Ok, I have a 98 ford f-150 4x4, 4.6 5-speed and its actin up a little. I recently put a set of pacesetter headers on it, when I put them on the power increase was very surprising, it had a lot of power, a few months later it started feeling like it had like dead spots, places it wouldnt make power and it just seemed flat, just didnt have much power... then the cel came on, I took it into the shop and they put a piece on it that was related to the egr, the cel went off but still the same power wise, maybe worse, It used to shut off at like 99 or so, now it shuts off at 95, that is crazy to me... im pretty sure it isnt the headers because it had this power problem at times before the headers.....another problem is the tranny, this seems to be a very hard to shift tranny, it is hard to get into second, all time... and whines a little. are these trannys just not very smooth shifting??? it has done this since I have owned it, just not quite as bad....
