If I was in the market for a '90s F150 right now, I'd buy that truck in a heartbeat.

I don't think that truck is that nice. To start off it is 2wd. The nicest truck from this era i have ever seen is my friends. he has a 1996 F250 extended cab longbed. it has a 5spd and a fuel injected 351. with 32" tires. Blue and white two-tone paint straight body. Without a doubt the nicest truck from this era that i have ever seen

That truck sold for $6600! Honesly, I can't believe it. I saw a 1st generation lightning with about the same miles and similar condition (maybe even nicer) sell for about the same price on ebay. Even though it is a nice looking truck with low miles, I don't see why this truck would bring in the same price.

the strange thing was that it was at $6000, high bid when this thread started, then it went down to $4k something, then back up to end at $6600.

which was way too much for that truck.
