I'm trying to order new rotors for the front but have a delima. In the tech section of this site it tells me to look for a "B" if I have ABS. On my door jam tag I have a "2" in the BK section. Does this mean rear ABS or 4 wheel ABS? I've always assumed it had 4 wheel ABS since it has all other options. I need to know because the rotors are different for rear and 4 wheel systems. By the way it is 2WD. Thanks for the help.
I just went out and looked. There is a plug with 3 wires coming off the brake reservoir. Another plug with wires coming off the other side from the metal part the brake lines attach to. I assume the one on the reservoir is for the brake light on the dash, and the other is for the ABS?? There are no wires going to either of the front wheels, just brake lines, so I assume I don't have front ABS. If anybody knows for sure I'd still like some help.
I know the 4 wheel ABS was a special order item on the 99 models. Most came with the rear wheel ABS only.
The wires on the plug at the reservoir reminds me. Have you taken your truck in for the Cruise Control recall yet? You don't want that thing catching fire.

Yes, I get most all my maintenance done at the dealer. They fixed the cruise a while back. They flagged my Bronco back in Nov. Disabled my cruise and its still waiting for parts. Its a '93, I figure if it hasn't malfunctioned by now it wouldn't.
