Went to the local pull-a-part and found a 64 ford f250. This truck had a mint core support, hood, inner fenders, 4 speed transmission cover and many small clips and *****. Got all this for 100$. MY question is the door tag shows an axle code of b6 it is a dana 60 rear end. Does anyone know what ratio this is. I'm at work now and don't have access to my shop manual. My friend also has a 64 f250 with a 4:56 rear end He's hopeing the b6 is a higher gear. Thanks
B6 is a Locking 1964 Dana/Spicer 60 with 4.88 gears. Section 40.1 page 2 of the master parts index catalog for 64-72 trucks. How that helps give your friend a big cheesy grin.
