The CO2 State

Texas produces more carbon emissions than most countries, but the state government and business community don't seem too concerned

If Texas were its own country, it would be the 48th most populous in the world, right between North Korea and Ghana. In terms of landmass, at 268,000 square miles it would be the 40th-biggest. But when it comes to environmental impact, Texas is on par with some of the largest, most industrialized nations on the planet.

I'd also like to dispute your other facts. If you counted the illegal aliens I think you would find that Texas is bigger than North Korea.

After that mad cow thing a few years back they seem to have a pretty good count on cows, so until we can figure out how to change their diet I guess we'll keep on polluting.

I can only eat so much. They seem to pop out calves quicker than I can eat. I hope this whole global warming thing isn't my fault.

I don't think that's exactly inline with wording next to your new avatar.

But Texas also produces a disproportionate percentage of the country's petro chemicals, have you ever seen the Houston ship channel, the world's highest concentration of perto chemical industry

I find it laughable how the enviro-weenies have been able to villify a common, naturally occuring, environmental element and have gotten the common public to buy into their load of bovine byproduct.
