Ya if u go with the ceramic, they wont last long at all. Ceramic reduces brake dust. But on heavy trucks, they cut the life buy a lot. If i were u, id go with the extreme duty or lts

Ceramic doesn't dissapate heat, it just doesn't transfer heat to the calipers and fluid. It is harder than the rotors, so rotor life will be less.

Beth i did mine back in nov. Me and my buddy did them. I paid 400 for all four rotors and pads. They are really good breaks. u can feel a diff on how they stop. I dont kno exactly what they are called. But if u want, i can ask him when i get into town tomorow.

The reason why i didnt pay alot was because my buddies dad is a mechanicand he got them at price.

Order from me!!!!

I can beat tire rack's pricing and most other sites.

I've actually had long discussions with my brake distributor about hawk vs other companies and he said Centric has outperformed Hawk in all of their personal tests. They actually stopped carrying/distributing Hawk in favor of the Centric (I can still get Hawk though).

If you were to get new pads and rotors I highly recommend the powerslot and Centric posi quiet brake pads, which are made specifically for large SUV's

If anyone would like a quote email me the year/make/model and what you are looking for if it is not on our website. We do not have any excursion parts listed yet (not sure if it is the same as the superduty).

I went with the Hawk LTS pads and Cragar Cryogenic Performance rotors. They are awesome big improvement over stock.

Go with the LTS. I researched the topic before I purchased my Cryo Powerslots and Hawk LTS pads. Most here on FTE have gone with LTS.

Have fun!
