A squeaking/scraping sound

I notice more when the weather is cold. This is the third Ford truck I have had and all had the same noise. It's in the front on the driver side. It can be heard mostly at low speed when hitting bump or hump. But, it is very noticeable when you go over a parking lot speed hump and slowly come off the other side and get a little bounce. It is a squeaking scraping sound that it very irritating.

Any ideas fellows?

David.

My '03 makes the same squeaking sound doing the same traffic bump bounce at slow speed. I thought it was the spring leafs rubbing each other. I lifted the truck by the frame which caused the leafs to seperate enough to get some grease in between them and WD-40'd the bushings. It seamed to work for a while but the squeak returned. I recently put a 4" lift on it, new springs with bushings and new sway bar bushings; the squaking is still there. The only thing I can believe it is now would be the upper rear hanger bushings; othe only bushings that weren't replaced.

Yes, it could be. But for me I had to replace the right side 10K ago and the left side 4K ago.
