I've been putting off the Cummins swap until my 7.3 gives up, which doesn't seem like any time soon. Just keeps running and running, no matter what I do with it.
I need to replace the injectors. How is DPS to deal with on quality and customer service? I'm looking at the Stage 1's as I might add a turbo at the same time. Do you have any recommendations for other suppliers?
Who has the best deal for injetor return line kits?
dps is horrible to deal with i ordered the stage 1 injectors and it took them 3 weeks to get them to me and once they did the injectors didnteven have nossels(i dont no if thats what they mean by stage 1's?) but they just spewed fuel everywhere and their return lines are small and dont sit right i wouldnt recommened them to anyone i havent even got any one to answer the phone there so i can return them
I got an injection pump, new injectors (Delphi), and return line kit from MidWest Fuel Injection last summer, after the many recommendations from this forum. Others have had good and bad experiences with other suppliers, but I have yet to see a complaint about mwfi. And they were really nice to talk to on the phone. Wish I could be treated that way at my local Ford, IH dealers, or PepBoys, Autozone, Checker, etc.
mwfi is very well to deal with thats who i got my injectors from but i decided to go with usdieselparts.com on my injection pump after talking with them and they have a one year warranty i decided to try them they were very nice and very prompt i would recommend either one of those two companys
I am running Stage 1 injectors.
It took me over 6 weeks to get mine, but I did order them as they were moving to a new shop.
The Stage 1 have no pintle sticking out of the injector nozzle like normal injectors do, but they work fine.
My only complaint about DPS is getting in touch with them.
