I have a ford f250 6.0 and have had problems from the day I bought it. I bought it in Oct. and not even a month later the rear pinion seal blows out. (i was anloy pulling 2 jetskis) so i had to get a toe home. The Ford delership fixed it for free because i had only had it for less then a month. then about a month and a half later it happened again. they fixed it again for free. now it was Feb. 7th and i had till Feb 10th to deside if i wanted to put extended warranty on it. so i did just in case this happened again. i bought a 4 year 42,000 mile warranty for my truck for $2,500 from Lundy lincon. ( they offerd my a better deal) Feb 27th i take my truck in because the rear end was just scream'n. i took it to lundy because Ford said they wold charge $100, lundy was going to do it for nothing. they took apart my rear end and the bearings and gears are shot. they are thinking about not working on it because they said that i knew about the problem and that is why i bought the warranty. i bought the warranty because i didnt want to pay for injectors or a turbo if they were to go out.
They sold you a warranty and they have to honor it . They may not like it but **** happens . If the dealer would have fixed it right the first time you would have never needed it done again. It should be on their dime . No questions asked.

Yup! What Matt said! They assumed the risk AND the responsibility when they sold you a warranty. The only issue is: Did you attest to preexisting conditions as you purchased the warranty? If there were no questions about them, then the dealer is bound by the agreement to fix your truck.
I just got a call from the dealership and they are going to cover only 75% of the cost. the reason they are doing this is because there is a 30 day period that you cant make any claims and they necer told me that. i am now looking at the contract to find were it says that. i am having one heck of a time finding it. also there was nothing on the contract that said these parts wont be covered. Now i have to come up with $200-300.

Contract language cannot be ambiguous... It's the responsibility of the drawer of the contract to insure that all parties that enter into the contract have a full and complete understanding of its function, limitations and constraints. So, basically, if it's not clear to you where the contract language states you cannot open a full coverage claim within the first 30 days of contract inception, the burden of responsibility is STILL on the dealer... On the other hand, if you knew about the preexisting condition and entered into this contract with the intent to use it as a solution to that problem, you're lucky they're paying 75%. They could cancel the contract citing breach of disclosure.
i didnt even have the proble till 3 days before i took it in. the only thing i knew about was that there rear pinion seel had blow out twice. and i told them that. i am still looking at the contract and cannot find the 30 day period. the reason i bought the warranty was because of the fear of an injector or turbo going out. my neighbor has the exact same truck as me with 30,000 more miles and he just replaced 2 injectors. both of our trucks are fully stock.
