6 liter with problems

6 liter with problems
My 6 liter starts real hard even when it's not cold out. Replaced both batteries and still hard starting. Now it seems to have a miss at idle,and sometimes while driving it seems to sputter. Could this all be caused by the cam position sensor
(crank sensor)? I've had 7.3 liters do similar but the end result was they wouldn't start.

Pop your egr out and see how it looks. You can clean it or replace it yourself. It could also be an injector or two. Next I would look at the wiring harness.
Pull codes first chance you get, would be worth investing in one if you haven't already.
