Hmmmm...fuel pump. Have certainly heard of those causing the same symptoms.

I guess I jumped the gun on the spark related guess.

It's in the tank. Not heard of one on the rail. The fuel FILTER is there...

I was under the impression that we had both. But I have found out lately that If I have an impression about something, I'M WRONG. I'll tell you guys, but not my wife. Yikes.

It would be too easy and cheap to replace the fuel pump if they mounted it on the frame rail rather than in the tank.Thats why they put the pump in the tank.
