ok i just put on a used 4" lift on my truck and i have a small problem. now my truck is higher in the front is there a good way to find out the size of block i need to bring the back end up, and a good place to buy new blocks? Should i get a tape measure and where should i measure from.
2001, F-250, 4x4, crew cab, short bed, 35/12.5 R16.5 BFG all terrianes, the lift is a super lift with no blocks in the back i think the lift is only 1 or 2 inches lower in the back but dont know a good way to find out for sure.
You could also measure from the ground to the bottom of the cab at the rear of the front fender well (front) and where it meets the bed (rear) and take the difference between them (front will be higher) and now you know how big of a block you need to get.
You could measure at the center of the fender well but usually the front wells are taller to allow the wheels to turn without rubbing during compression.
I dont have any thing but the stock block with what should of been 4" lifted replacement leaf springs. I was thinking that i could measure a point in the rear and get a jack to lift the truck where i want it then measure same point the def. should be the size block i need. What do you all think?
