what programmer? and what changes will I see

I started inquiring about a programmer or a chip today for my 05 excursion with the v10 and a 4x4. I am not sure of makes or model and was wondering if any one had any first hand knowledge. I was also wondering what changes I would see or any thing specific I should look for. I obviously want to gain power and I will need to re calibrate my speedo after this weekend do to upcoming lift kit(only 3.5 fabtech). Cost is always a factor so I am not looking to spend a fortune but also dont want junk. Thanks Dan

I have a 2000 X 4x4 and I use the Hypertech. minimal gains in horsepower and torque. Was able to change the tire size as well...Get better performance with an exhaust and an intake,,,IMO...

Good Luck
