I Bought Aussie Heads...

I just purchased at set of Aussie heads and will be arriving shortly. I am going to port and polish, stainless valves, gasket match, yada yada. Basically I am turning them into a pair of screamers. Now I was recently told that the Aussie heads on a stock motor would raise my compression about 1.5 points (w/ stock pistons). Does this sound right? Now I was thinking about putting these "high-compression" 8.4:1 (high-compression... right) pistons in my 78 400 along with these heads. So that would make my cr approximately 10:1 as opposed to 9.5:1 with the stock pistons. What would you recommend for a street performance truck. I don't want to always have to fill it up with premium and I have heard that 10:1 is the "magic number" where you have to start doing this. What kind of performance difference is there going to be between 9.5 and 10? Is it worth it? I would definitely like to have 10:1 but as I stated earlier, I don't want it to be a "premium-only" rig. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh 1 last question, what is the combustion chamber size for the aussie heads? Thanx again
