glad to hear everyone is OK, it sounds like you have an impressive bunch of kids reacting the way they did in that kind of emergency

Wow! That was some wreck. I am glad to hear that your children are OK and that your wife will recover. I got into a wreck with my 4 year old in the car and it took her a few months to get over the fear and nightmares. Time heals all wounds.

i hope your wife has a fast full recovery. thank god no one was seriousley hurt. thats quite a wreck. good luck with your new truck too.

One option you should add is the supplemental heater. It is wonderful. These 6.4's take a loooong time to warm up.

I am so glad no one was seriously injured. Your kids deserve a long weekend at Disneyworld or 6 Flags for being so heroic.

Thanks for the wonderful responce. About the only thing the children are having a problem with is nightmares, but they will quit with time. And yes the white expedition did drive off. The insurance co. took my older daughter's statement and they believed her, so they are covering the expenses. If my wife was alone and no one saw it then they would not cover the medical expense. So what they told me was to hit the other truck so you would have some evidence on the paint. WOW, DO WHAT???????? thats a hard decision to make in a split second...............

But every thing is working out just great.

PS: well, guess I will have to change my ID to Hardrock_F350 now, HEHEHEHE.........

I totalled out my first car avoiding a t-bone collision with a ford focus when it spun out on the interstate in front of me. The police said if I would've hit them I would've easily killed all the occupants in the car so they did not cite me with a violation. Insurance company made me pay hte dedeuctible ($1000 broad form) because I did not hit them. THe agent told me whenever there is a chance of colliding with another vehicle, regardless of circumstance, hit them and it will not be "your fault" thru the eyes of the insurer. Well, granted losing money sucked, but at least I can sleep at night knowing I valued 4 peoples lives at mroe than $1000. They are bass-akwards, but your wife did the right thing for everyone avoiding the collision, don't listen to those heartless *******s that insure ya.
