Air Cleaner adapter??
Is there an adapter out there that will change my stock 2 barrell neck diameter to the larger 4 barrell or "normal" diameter? I am trying to get rid of the original oil bath cleaner and put on a more modern looking cleaner but don't like the smaller 2 barrell cleaners. Thanks for the help.

I looked at the adapter but I'm not sure how it will attach to the new cleaner. My carb does not have the bolt sticking but from the top where the cleaner normally sides over and you use a wing nut to hold it on. My has for lack of a better discription a hose clamp type where it clamps to the outside of the carb. I think this would work but i'm not sure how to keep all the parts snug.

I've seen where a couple of people modified their oil bath air cleaner to use a paper filter. I've also seen piping at the local parts store that's for making your own air intake, but doesn't really seem to be the right style for my truck (think they cater to the newer model car crowd) still it might work for you.
