F350 Brake Problem
I just purchased a used (08 with 18k miles) F350 King Ranch. I have driven it a total of probably 40 miles and had it for a couple days. There is a problem with the brakes, and I just had it towed back to CarMax where I bought it so they can address the problem. Needless to say, I am concerned. I have 5 days to return it (3 now) and get my money back. I am seriously considering doing that. I am inclined to give them an opportunity to fix it, but I don't want to be stuck with something that will give me more problems down the road. Please advise!

Kevin, Welcome to FTE. I can't help you with this particular problem but be patient somebody will get you some answers. If you know the VIN go down to the 6.0 forum and have someone run an OASIS report. This will tell you if there ever was any service work done by a dealer. I would question why an 08 King Ranch with only 18k miles was at CARMAX. Also there should be some warranty, I would think, which should take care of any issues with the brakes. Let us know whichever way you go.

thanks for the tip maadman. I posted something in the 6.4 forum. I hear you on wondering why someone would own a very expensive truck for 8 months and sell it to CARMAX. Makes me wonder if something was wrong with it, and that is why they sold it.
