02 f-150. Sisters truck. 100k+ miles. Number 3 Nasty plug. 3more bad. Replaced all plugs and reset codes. Prior codes for 3 and 2 misfire. Replaced all plug wires now down to Number 2 misfire and boy she stumbles. Coil pack bad? Injector bad? Replace what? First 1000rpm system too lean p0174.

waiting for long distance test to burn out cylinder and see if she cleans up.

what I think. I think the valve seals are bad or the head is gooed up and allowing oil to pool up and not excape the head and is fouling the spark plug. Any input?
I'm having the same problem with my 2003 F-150 4.2. Did you every find out the problem? It could be mine as well, I'v changed the wires and plugs and had the coil pack checked but told it was good.
