Removing a 3.0 from a 2002
Hey guys. Recently purchesed a 2002 escape with a big hole in the block. Whats the best way to remove the engine? Seperatly from the tranny and out the top or drop it all down and take it out the bottom?

Never done it myself, but.....
I do know it is around 1.5-2.5 hours to drop the tranni. If you want, try to take it all out the top. Or if you got the time, I would drop out the tranni, Then pull the engine out the top.
