Electrical issue?

Electrical issue?
All right. I haven't been on here in a while. That whole work thing keeps getting in the way but here goes.
My check engine light came on recently and a code reader indicated something about the transmission. Can't remember exactly what it said. The Overdrive light would flash but would go out if I hit the button. Check engine light has since gone out and come and gone a few more times. In the last week or so, my radio goes out when the truck is in reverse. Fine by me. I need to be paying attention to the truck being in reverse not the radio. Tonight when I tried to start the truck after work, everything worked except the starter when I turned the key. The truck did eventually start.
Any ideas?

strongly recommend you take your vehicle to a FORD dealer. The flashing over-drive light indicates there is something VERY wrong with the transmission - which needs to be IMMEDIATELY corrected to prevent MAJOR damage.
