400 rebuilt
After debating on swaping in a 429/460 for my 351M I have decided to rebuilt the 351M into a 400. I plan on getting a 4bl carb, a performer intake, 9:1 pistons, a "strait up" timing chain and I have been debating on a Comp Cams 265deh cam. I was wandering if it is too big of a cam for stock heads or if I would need to have the heads worked any. It is going in a truck that is used to get to school(which is less than a mile away) and for off roading. Thanks in advance.

The 265 is just one "step" up form the stock cam. You'll be fine with what you have without making any changes in the heads/valves. I think you'll be happy with your choice of cams there.
