Need a cab...

I have an 85 f250, needs a cab. Am I limited to only 80-86 cabs for it to fit frame, or can I make later model fit.?.

OR,

my 85 has a strong jasper & c6... can I put the combo in a newer body w/o too much modification?

You can use a cab all the way up to a 1996.

Sycostang67 has done this.
Why don't you check out his gallery?
Maybe He'll chime in with some details.

Where are you located in Pa.? I know of a real nice one (80-86) with only a tiny spot of rust on the pass side cab corner.

Other than that, it's mint. I was thinking about getting it as a spare. And it's almost already completely gutted.

I bought a 81 dump truck and the guy had a complete, solid cab w/ title, extra doors and front clip minus the hood, including a trailer for 750.. I wanted some of the stuff, but not all. He's in cent. Illinois...

Matters not if its a F100 F250 F350 Or F450. Firewalls do change with some holes closed off and new ones added. Although its a lot of work I am thinking about swaping my old 85 F150 firewall into my 95 F350 cab.

I have a cab for an 86. The left front fender is primered due to hitting a deer but other than that the cab is in great shape. There are no rust holes whatsoever in it. The truck is from here in south arkansas and has never even seen salt or more than an inch or two of snow. I have the whole truck actually I just wanted the interior. If interested let me know. I can send you some pics if need be.
