I'm back!
Just ordered a 08 F-350CC 4x4, 6.4l, lariet, 6-speed manual this evening. The reason I say that I'm back is that I previously owned a 1995 f-250 with a 7.3, a 1999 with a 7.3, and a 2003 with a disasterous 6.0. After a replaced engine and too many times in the shop to list I swore off diesels and ordered a 2008 F-250 V-10. The V-10 runs good but only gets 10 mpg or less. After reading the numerous posts about the job 3 6-speeds getting 14 mpg or better I decided to jump back into the world of diesels.
