OK, it's not a Ford, but.....my wife's car wouldn't start this morning, acts like it had a dead battery. I hooked up the Craftsman charger/starter/tester and it said the battery was at 12.5v but only 55% charge.
how can that be?
she's charging now, so time will tell, but shouldn't anything over 12v enable it to start?

TIA.
I don't know how hondas are, but check the wiring going from the battery to the started selinoid and things like that for looseness/drains. Also check your chassis ground.
haha, she's an automatic.....
bought the EverStart at Walmart, hooked up the charger, she was at 90%....set it up for "top off" and half hour later she was 100%....cranked right over.....if it lasts, we're fine....if not, time to troubleshoot the system...which i despise.
